MindFlex Approach

The MindFlex Approach brings together psychotherapy, yoga, and Kim’s decades of experience to support your wellbeing in a grounded, compassionate way. This page explores how these elements work together — from the therapeutic insight that helps you understand yourself more deeply, to the mindful movement and breathwork that reconnect you with your body. At the heart of it all is Kim’s warm, person‑centred style, creating a safe space where emotional clarity and physical wellbeing can grow side by side.

About Kim

At the heart of my work is a deep passion for supporting freedom from suffering in a world that so often pulls us away from ourselves and from nature. We live in a culture that values constant doing, productivity, and survival, leaving little space for simply being. Many people I work with are not seeking endless happiness, but peace — a sense of steadiness beneath the noise and pressure of modern life.

"Everyone deserves a life of autonomy and freedom from conditioning."

Thriving, to me, is found in reconnection: with our bodies, our inner values, the natural world, and the small, meaningful moments that remind us why life matters. When we reconnect in this way, we begin to move beyond conditioning, beyond the “shoulds” and “musts,” and towards a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and alive.

My journey into yoga and psychotherapy was shaped by my own experiences of adversity and trauma. I came to yoga at a time when my nervous system was holding deep wounds, and its physical practices and philosophies became the beginning of my healing. Yoga opened the door, and psychotherapy gave me a language and framework to adapt these ancient teachings for the realities of modern life.

The path has taught me resilience, humility, and what it truly means to thrive rather than survive. I work from a place of empathy, not authority — walking alongside others rather than leading from above. My own struggles keep me grounded and connected, echoing what Carl Jung described as the “wounded healer.” My drive is simple and sincere: to support change, however small or big, and to help others move towards autonomy, peace, and a life less bound by inherited patterns and expectations.

About Yoga

Yoga is both a philosophy and a practice that unites body, mind, and breath to promote balance, awareness, and wellbeing.

Rooted in ancient traditions, it offers tools for cultivating mindfulness, self-acceptance, and resilience in everyday life.

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." – Bhagavad Gita

Through movement, breathwork, and meditation, yoga supports flexibility, strength, mental clarity,

I specialise in Vinyasa yoga, a dynamic, flow style Yoga that links breath with movement. It encourages fluid sequences, building strength, stamina, and focus, while allowing space for mindfulness and self-exploration.

Classes can be adapted for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

About Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy offers a safe space to explore life’s challenges—whether it’s anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, or addiction recovery.

"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." – Aristotle

Together, we can uncover deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, helping you move forward authentically.

Using Transactional Analysis (TA), we’ll explore why you think and act the way you do, working collaboratively to build self-awareness, independence, and your full potential.

The focus is always on your goals and well-being.
